Abstract
I hope that you will be able to join us for a dissemination event on the findings of our NIHR and Marie Curie funded programme of work on Improving care and support in advanced COPD : the Living with Breathlessness Study.
This programme, which has been running since mid-2012, gathered comprehensive multiple-perspective evidence on care, support, functioning and needs of people living with advanced COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease). It has led to six key recommendations to address the needs of patients and their informal carers. We will present these six recommendations, action points and their implications for stakeholders working with those living with advanced COPD . Lunch will be provided – please book your place to facilitate catering.
