Abstract
Herman Narula, CEO of Improbable and a University of Cambridge alumnus, founded a business in a barn a four years ago. How did Herman and his videogame developing team succeed in leveraging resources in the early days and to what extent can social capital (networks and contacts) enable a young company to flourish and succeed beyond all expectation? Herman started his company with audacity. Four years on how has the vision matured and what is the secret to attracting the skills necessary to keep the company growing?
