Abstract
Financial services and telecommunications are two highly regulated industries that take customer privacy extremely seriously. In many cases this heavily restricts their ability to innovate. I’ll discuss how these industries are adopting privacy engineering solutions to safeguard their customers and enable new and better use of their data. I’ll talk about the current state of the art, and highlight the hard challenges that must be addressed next.
