Abstract
David is speaking about personal data stores and their role in enabling the digital economy, he will also put forward the perspective that engaging people in privacy may not be the best approach as it starts the discussion in the wrong place, amid concerns and fears instead of about the potential and opportunities that open up when you equip individuals to collect, store and redistribute the data about their lives under their control.
