This week’s paper is:

Ding et al (2001). Some aspects of heat transfer in rolling mode rotating drums operated at low to medium temperatures. Powder Tech 121, 168-181.

Basil Lam will be giving an introduction to modelling heat transfer in rotary kilns, focusing on transfer between the bed and the wall. There will then be the opportunity for discussion of any issues that arise in relation to the topic.
