The presentation will provide an overview of an intervention designed to reduce sitting and encourage physical activity in older adults at mid-life and beyond. It will include a discussion of behaviour change theories and the built and social enviroment, including a focus on active transportation as a mechanism to encourage activity within daily life routines.
