PMP Project Seminar Series- Every Monday for 5 weeks starting 30 January 2017 The Post Masters Placement programme provides the opportunity for young mathematicians, typically those who have just completed their Part III year, to work in industry and in labs and institutes throughout the University. The lunchtime seminar series will provide more information on projects available for summer 2017 (LUNCH PROVIDED ). Please note there will be 2 parallel sessions on 20 February in MR13 and MR20 .

  • Application of Compressive Sensing to Hyperspectral Endoscopy (Department of Physics)
  • Compressed sensing development for Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy (Department of Biochemistry)
  • Improved target discrimination for the UK weather radar network (Met Office TBC )
