Abstract
Dr Dominica Dipio is an Associate Professor in the Department of Literature, Makerere University. She has published widely in her crosscutting research fields in literature, film and gender. She is currently in Cambridge as a CAPR Ex, Fellow, affiliated to the Faculty of Education. Her CAPR Ex Fellowship research titled, Mother-centred Africa through the Lens of Folktales, examines gender dynamics in Africa, in the context of the family, using the lens of folktales.
