Abstract
Creating production level software is quite different from completing assignments in University courses. In this talk, Becky will discuss how to engineer software that lasts by mentioning best practices and techniques that work. It will include topics such as code reviews, automated testing, continuous integration and scheduled deployments.
Sort Bio: Becky Plummer is a Software Engineer who has created trading and content applications for the Financial Markets with Bloomberg LP for 11 years. She is a graduate of Columbia University in the City of New York and recently relocated to the UK with Bloomberg to gain a global perspective.
