Abstract
The talk will cover AAR Net’s DWDM optical backbone, including new transponders giving 200Gbps per wavelength from Perth to the Australian SKA site. It will also touch on aspects on the network design for the SKA - within the Telescope, to the supercomputer and beyond to the researchers.
