Evelleen Richards is internationally known for her studies of the relation between generation and evolution in the nineteenth century, as well as her work on modern biomedicine. Her talk explores the intersection of notions of sexuality, gender, generation and breeding lore and practices in Charles Darwin’s construction of sexual selection.
