DESCRIPTION:Conformal field theories are ubiquitous\, occurring on a spect
 rum varying from string theories to general critical points on renormaliza
 tion group flows. We will introduce some of the interesting techniques tha
 t use conformal symmetry to compute CFT correlation functions and constrai
 n CFT data\, a notion we will try to understand. The discussion will try t
 o include conformal symmetry\, operator product expansions\, partial wave 
 expansions\, and a first invocation of conformal bootstrap. This is useful
  for all future string theorists.
