 egin with discussion of simply-connectedness and the Fundamental group\, t
 hen moving onto projective representations and universal coverings. After 
 this pure math appetizer\, we will proceed to indulge ourselves with the r
 adical consequences the topology of SO(3) has on quantum physics and the e
 ffect it has on the world we experience around us\, such as how matter avo
 ids collapsing in on itself and why chemistry actually happens.
