DESCRIPTION:For classical systems with a finite number of degr
ees of freedom KAM theorem guarantees stability of
integrable systems for sufficiently small perturb
ations. How about quantum systems in the thermodyn
amic limit? \nI will present results showing that
systems with quasiperiodic potential can behave co
mpletely differently than random ones\, where dyna
mics smoothly changes. Namely\, for small interact
ions there is a discontinuous change from localiza
tion to diffusion. Implications for possible many-
body localization will be discussed. I will also b
riefly mention exact results for entanglement dyna
mics in a putative many-body localized system desc
ribed by a so-called l-bit Hamiltonian\, showing t
hat the growth is not just logarithmic in time as
believed so far.
