 r Internet & Society\, Harvard University)\, Danny Sriskandarajah (Secreta
 ry General\, CIVICUS\, and member of the UN High-level Panel on Digital Co
 operation)\, Nigel Houlden (Head of Technology Policy\, Information Commis
 sioner’s Office). We'll also have short talks from some of the best up-a
 nd-coming researchers\, and plenty of opportunity for networking. \n\nThe 
 Trust & Technology Initiative brings together and drives forward interdisc
 iplinary research from Cambridge and beyond to explore the dynamics of tru
 st and distrust in relation to internet technologies\, society and power\;
  to better inform trustworthy design and governance of next generation tec
 h at the research and development stage\; and to promote informed\, critic
 al\, and engaging voices supporting individuals\, communities and institut
 ions in light of technology’s increasing pervasiveness in societies.
