  (opposite the side entrance to John Lewis) for another special SciBarHeal
 th event hosted by Cambridge British Science Association and Cambridge Uni
 versity Health Partners to mark World Bone and Joint Week. SciBar brings i
 nteresting\, topical areas of science to the general public with scientifi
 c talks followed by lively discussion.\n\nThese events are eminently suita
 ble for the layperson\, so even if you only have a vague interest in arthr
 itis and bone & joint problems\, do please join us - you will be made very
  welcome!\n\nWe have two speakers eminent in their fields:\n\nDr Jagtar Si
 ngh Nijjar\, a NIHR Clinical lecturer and honorary rheumatology registrar 
 working at the University of Cambridge and Addenbrooke's Hospital will be 
 talking about 'Rheum with a view: Through the looking glass into rare join
 t diseases'. He has an active research interest in the pathogenesis of rar
 e inflammatory bone diseases. He will discuss how a patient inspired his l
 atest research\, how the support of the NIHR BioResource has transformed t
 his into a national study and importantly\, that by researching rare condi
 tions\, we inevitably glean insights into more common diseases. Here is a

  work.\n\nProfessor Andrew McCaskie is an orthopaedic surgeon at Addenbroo
 ke’s Hospital with an interest in lower limb surgery and his talk is ent
 itled 'Movement Matters'. He is the Director of the Arthritis Research UK 
 Tissue Engineering Centre\, working with other academics across the UK. Th
 is research aims to develop innovative solutions\, particularly regenerati
 ve\, to benefit patients with musculoskeletal disease\, such as Osteoarthr
 itis.\n\nAndrew will consider the key advances in orthopaedic surgery and 
 research that aim to repair or regenerate bone and joint tissues\n\nEntry 
 is FREE. Refreshments and dinner or snacks are available to purchase at th
 e bar. Attendees frequently have a drink and dinner on their laps\, whilst
  listening to the talks\, so please arrive early enough to order!\n\nAfter
  each talk (which lasts about half an hour) there is an opportunity for yo
 u to ask questions.\n\nPlease note that there are stairs at the venue so i
