DESCRIPTION:In the first part of the talk\, a brief history of the evoluti
 on of particle physics experiments will be presented\, from nuclear emulsi
 on plates to the state-of-art Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment (DUNE).
  After that\, different ways to analyse patterns in Liquid Argon Time Proj
 ection Chamber (LArTPC) experiments will be shown with particular emphasis
  on Pandora and the current development of a tool able to distinguish trac
 k-like particles passing through dense electromagnetic shower-like topolog
 ical regions.
