DESCRIPTION:In the last ten years\, a new approach to quantum gravity has 
 emerged. Called Tensor Field Theory\, it generalizes random matrix models 
 in a straightforward way. This talk will be the occasion of recalling the 
 main motivations for such field theories and to present the state-of-the-a
 rt of their constructive study.<br><br>This is joint work with Vincent Riv
 asseau.
