 Venue: Department of Pathology\, CB2 1QP\n\nOne day interdisciplinary meet
 ing focusing on the challenges of parasitic and neglected diseases. \n\nCo
 nfirmed speakers include: Pauline Beattie (EDCTP)\, Catherine Merrick (UoC
 )\, Simon Croft (LSHTM)\, Marcus Lee (WT-Sanger)\, Suzanne Turner (UoC)\, 
 Mark Carrington (UoC).\n\nAs part of the programme\, we will hold a panel 
 session in the afternoon\, with individuals who have either long term expe
 rience of working across the field and lab\, and those who have recently m
 ade the change to conducting this type of work\, or are in the process of 
 making this change. A draft programme (subject to change) will be posted o
 nline soon.\n\nCall for Abstracts now Open to early career researchers (Ph
 D students and postdoctoral researchers) for abstracts (max 200 words) to 
 present talks. Closing date for submission 20th November 2018. Notificatio
 n of outcome will be communicated by 30th November 2018.\n\nThe aim of the
  network is to bring together parasite and NTD researchers in Cambridge an
 d provide a platform to increase links with research collaborators in LMIC
 s. \n\nHosted by Shona Wilson (UoC) and Julian Rayner (Wellcome Trust - Sa
 nger Institute).
