DESCRIPTION:This year's lecture will be given by Professor Tim Whitley\, a
 nd will be entitled 'Science\, the Future of Converged Networks and the Un
 derpinning of our Digital Lives'.  \n\nWe’re all living digital lives. W
 e want\, sometimes need\, even demand\, to be able to consume apps\, servi
 ces\, entertainment and content over a seamless connection\, wherever we a
 re. Tim will describe how\, in a world where the demand for bandwidth and 
 connectivity is ever-increasing\, science is putting BT at the forefront o
 f the next generation of mobile\, 5G\, and how our research aims to make t
 he ‘converged’ experience more seamless.\n\nWe are pleased to invite y
 ou to the 2018 Pembroke-BT Annual Lecture\, which will be held in the Old 
 Library\, Pembroke College on Monday 19 November\, at 5.30 pm (refreshment
 s from 5 pm). \n \nTo allow me to keep track of the numbers coming and to 
 ensure that we do not exceed capacity\, I should be very grateful if you w
 ould let me know as soon as possible if you intend to come to the lecture.
