DESCRIPTION:Robyn Scott\, a 2004 Gates Scholar who completed an MPhil in B
 ioscience Enterprise\, will be discussing her recently published memoir "T
 wenty Chickens for a Saddle". The book is about her unconventional and exc
 iting childhood in the wilds of Botswana\, where her parents moved from Ne
 w Zealand when she was six years old. In her talk\, Scott will also be dis
 cussing her work on pharmaceutical access in developing countries.\n\nAlex
 ander McCall Smith\, author of the acclaimed The Ladies No. 1 Detective Ag
 ency series\, describes the memoir as: "Both a wonderful memoir of an exot
 ic childhood and a striking portrait of one of the world's most beguiling 
 countries. A gem of a book." It was published in the USA in March 2008 and
  will be published in the UK on May 6\, 2008. The book has been honoured b
 y selection as BBC Radio 4 Book of the Week\, and will be broadcast from M
