DESCRIPTION:Turbulence is an ubiquitous phenomenon in fluid flows. Yet\, c
alculating its statistical properties\, and in particular what is generica
lly called intermittency effects\, remains an open issue. We will focus on
isotropic and homogeneous fully developed turbulence in incompressible fl
ows. While much effort has been devoted to characterizing equal-time prope
rties of the turbulent state\, less is known about its temporal behavior.
I will present some analytical results on the time dependence of generic n
-point correlation functions in the stationary turbulent state. These resu
lts are obtained from « first principles »\, i.e. starting from the Navi
er-Stokes equation\, and using a field-theoretical approach (based on Func
tional and Non-Perturbative Renormalisation Group techniques). They are as
ymptotically exact in the limit of large wave-numbers. I will compare our
predictions with available results from both numerical simulations and exp
 eriments.\n\nM. Tarpin\, C. Pagani\, LC\, N. Wschebor\, to appear in J. Ph
