DESCRIPTION:Gromov’s density model of random groups has been of great in
 terest to geometric group theorists - in this model the number of generato
 rs is fixed and the length of relators tends to infinity. Zuk introduced t
 he triangular model\,\nwhere the length of relators is fixed at three\, as
  an approximation to the density model\, and used this to prove Property (
 T) for the density model. Odrzygóźdź introduced the square model\, prov
 ing various properties for this. In this talk we study random groups where
  the relator length is fixed at an arbitrary integer k. Joint work with C.
  Roney-Dougal.
