 uing our series of informal lunchtime talks featuring speakers from a rang
 e of disciplines and backgrounds talking about their work in the context o
 f trust and technology. \n\nOn 7th May 2019: Amanda Brock (Trustable.io) w
 ill talk about Trustable\, an open project looking at risk in software dev
 elopment\, by pulling together engineering practices\, legal and complianc
 e with insurance. Trustable is a not for profit and will work on a contrib
 utions basis to establish state of the art around engineering processes\, 
 public constraints\, legal and compliance and to consider suitable insuran
 ce for software\n\nAmanda is the CEO of Trustable Software\, www.trustable
 .io and joint organiser of the UK Open Source Awards\, having been a judge
  of the awards in 2014 and 2015. Trustable Software is a new initiative lo
 oking at risk and transparency in Software. She was General Counsel of Can
 onical\, and was a member of the Open Stack Drafting Committee in 2012. As
  well as her role at Trustable\, Amanda is currently a European Representa
 tive of the defensive patent pool\, the Open Invention Network\; a Directo
 r of Open UK\; an Executive Editor and Founder of the International Free a
 nd Open Source Law Review\; on the OASIS Open Projects' Advisory Council (
 open source and open standards)\; and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Art
 s. Amanda is a regular international speaker and author covering technolog
 y\, collaboration and legal issues.\n\nLocation: Cambridge Brew House (Tan
 k Room)\n\nAll events in our lunchtime talk series run from 1pm to 2pm and
  are open to the public. Registration is not required\n\nN.B. lunch is not
  provided\, but food will be available to order. Please place orders befor
