DESCRIPTION:In this talk I will survey our recent approach to the modeling
  of magneto-viscoelastic materials. Our system of partial differential equ
 ations consists of the Navier-Stokes equations\, the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbe
 rt equation and an evolution equation for the deformation gradient. I will
  address modeling aspects\, analytical results and potential applications.
