DESCRIPTION:In this talk I will focus on the dust properties we can infer 
 from the observation of its dynamics. I will present two examples. A first
 \, extreme case is the AU Mic debris disk\, in which substructures are ide
 ntified\, moving faster than the local escape velocity. A second more gene
 ric case is the NIR excess attributed to hot dust around ~20% of the field
  stars. In both cases\, I will show the constraints we can derive from the
  dynamics on grain size\, composition\, stellar wind or dust production me
 chanism.
