DESCRIPTION:I will talk about an ongoing research program relying on a dua
l frame approach to treat numerically the field equations of GR (in genera
lized harmonic gauge) on compactified hyperboloidal slices. These slices t
erminate at future-null infinity\, and the hope is to eventually extract g
ravitational waves from simulations there. The main obstacle to their use
is the presence of &#39\;infinities&#39\; coming from the compactified coo
rdinates\, which have to somehow interact well with the assumption of asym
ptotic flatness so that we may arrive at regular equations for regular unk
 nowns. I will present a new &#39\;subtract the logs&#39\; regularization s
trategy for a toy nonlinear wave equation that achieves this goal.
