DESCRIPTION:A significant limitation in current determinations of Parton D
 istribution Functions (PDFs)\, which describe the structure of protons\, i
 s that the impact of theoretical uncertainties is not systematically accou
 nted for. I will present two frameworks for the inclusion of additional so
 urces of theoretical uncertainty in PDF fits\, and present the first studi
 es of the effects of missing higher-order uncertainties\, which are estima
 ted using scale variations\, on PDFs in the context of the NNPDF approach.
