DESCRIPTION:REBOUND is an open source N-body integrator package for planet
 ary and other astrophysical systems. I will give a brief overview of the a
 lgorithms implemented in REBOUND and what you can do with them. I will try
  to motivate why sharing your codes is important\, not only from a scienti
 fic point of view\, but also because it can help advance your career. I wi
 ll share some of my experience regarding the kind of problems you might ru
 n into when other people start using your code. I also plan to dive into s
 ome of the technical details of developing scientific codes that you might
  not often hear about in lectures or papers.
