DESCRIPTION:In this talk I’ll discuss the results I’ve obtained for a
simple associative memory. An associative memory lets one store (key\, val
ue) pairs in such a way that when presented with a key the corresponding v
alue is returned. I’ll present a method which uses randomization to avoi
d storing the keys. (It is similar in spirit to the Bloom filter.)\n\nI wi
ll also compare and contrast my work with: Willshaw nets and "Distributed
 Phase codes":http://www.inference.phy.cam.ac.uk/mackay/DistribPhaseCode/.
