DESCRIPTION:Inductive programming refers to the use of inference to automa
te the process of writing computer programs. I'll explain how this can be
done effectively\, and demonstrate a working inductive programming system.
I'll also discuss how the use of abstraction as a means for controlling c
omplexity can allow inductive programming to scale up to large problems. F
inally\, I'll talk about how these techniques look to provide an exciting
new avenue by which to approach the problem of intelligent agent design.\n
