 nique scanning probe microscopies based upon pipette-based probes for dete
 cting electrochemical activities. In this talk\, I will introduce our rece
 nt progress in electrochemical microscopic studies in the field of energy 
 materials including lithium-ion battery electrodes and electrocatalysts. T
