 r House where\, with\nthe kind hospitality of the FCO\, we will be hosting
  a prestigious Opening Gala ! Imagine yourself sipping champagne and eatin
 g delicious\ncanapés in a gilded hall while chatting with dozens of brigh
 t French and British students or listening to speeches by senior officials
  Doesn't it sound great?\n\nThe following day\, on the 13th\, the 'serious
 ' work starts. After a Welcoming Speech from the University and the Allian
 ce\, you will\nparticipate in a plenary session where a panel of experts w
 ill debate about the topic as a whole and interact with the floor. It is a
  unique\nchance to discuss with such an articulate group of speakers!The p
 lenary session will then be split up into three main simultaneous\npanel d
 ebates on "Globalisation at Home"\, "Globalisation in Europe" and "Globali
 sation in the Wider World" which will begin to look into more specific iss
 ues.\n\nIn the afternoon\, you will all be divided into debating workshops
 \, each lead by one or two of our speakers\, which will deal with very spe
 cific\ntopics such as "Is EU red tape strangling Britain and France's econ
 omies at a time of increasing global competition"\, "The Financial and Cli
 mate\nCatastrophes: the same causes and the same solution" or " Londonista
 n or Clichy-sous-Bois? -- Multiculturalism or assimilation?".\n\nYet the b
 est part is that the conclusions of these workshops will be collected\, sy
 nthetised and incorporated into our Annual Report which is\nsent to our in
 stitutional supports: Her Majesty the Queen\, the President of France\, th
 e FCO\, and the Ministère des Affaires Etrangères!\n\nAnd after a day of
  stimulating debates\, you will head to a fancy Black Tie Dinner\, followe
