DESCRIPTION:Quasi-cluster algebras were defined in 2015 by Dupont and Pale
si and are cluster algebras arising from non-orientable surfaces. In this
talk\, we will first give an introduction on these quasi-cluster algebras
and list some of their properties (finite-type classification\, skein rela
tions\, among others). Then\, we will compare two ways to associate quiver
 s to these quasi-cluster algebras. Finally\, we will study quasi-cluster a
lgebras via representation theory.\nJoint work with Aaron Chan and Kayla W
