DESCRIPTION:One study a general class of hybrid mathematical models of col
lective motions of cells under the influence of chemical stimuli. The mode
ls are hybrid in the sense that cells are discrete entities given by ODE\,
while the chemoattractant is considered as a continuous signal which solv
es a diffusive equation. For this model one proves the mean-field limit in
the Wasserstein distance to a system given by the coupling of a Vlasov-ty
pe equation with the chemoattractant equation. The approach and results ar
e based on marginals of large number of individuals densities and provide
explicit bounds. In the monokinetic case new pressureless nonlocal Euler-t
ype model with chemotaxis is derived.
