DESCRIPTION:The classical singular decomposition method has been applied t
 o linear kinetic transport equations to recover their absorption and scatt
 ering coefficients. In this talk we will show how this method works for ge
 neral kinetic inverse problems. As examples\, we will show various reconst
 ructions of parameters in nonlinear transport equations\, linear transport
  with an interface and the nonlinear Vlasov-Poisson equation. This talk is
  based on a series of works with Ru-yu Lai and Qin Li.
