DESCRIPTION:W-algebras (of finite type) are certain associative algebras c
 onstructed from nilpotent orbits in semisimple Lie algebras. In this talk 
 I am going to describe a relation between irreducible finite dimensional r
 epresentations of a W-algebra and primitive ideals of the universal envelo
 ping algebra whose associated variety coincides with the closure of the gi
 ven orbit.
