DESCRIPTION:We show that any finite coloring of Q contains monochromatic\n
 sets of the form x\,y\,x+y\,xy as well as generalizations involving\narith
 metic progressions and many variables.  We also prove analogous\nresults f
 or 2-colorings of N.  This talk is partially based on\nupcoming work with
