DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nIn this talk\, we will review some aspects of the stella
r magnetism and in particular\nwhat numerical simulations tell us about th
 e physical processes underlying the observations.\nIn cool Sun-like stars\
, a convective dynamo is thought to be responsible for the presence and\ne
volution of magnetic fields. One important aspect of stellar dynamos is th
e possible presence\nof magnetic cycles\, whose caracteristics depend on t
he stellar parameters. Another question is\nhow magnetic flux is transport
ed from the interior to the surface to produce starspots and\nwhether thos
e spots play a role in the dynamo process. In more evolved stars\, i.e. su
bgiant and giant stars\, new asteroseismic results just showed that strong
magnetic fields exist in their cores. They may be responsible for an effi
cient transport of angular momentum that would explain the much-slower-tha
n-expected core rotation of these stars.\nWe will show in this talk that n
umerical simulations may help us tackle several of the\nabove key question
 s about stellar magnetism.\n\n\n
