DESCRIPTION:Reproducibility in computer science is an ongoing issue. Studi
es have shown that while computer scientists provide detailed experimental
results in their publications\, other researchers are rarely able to repr
oduce their work. This puts the trustworthiness of computer science resear
ch in question. Some of the leading journals and conferences have in recen
t years introduced rewards for scientists publishing reproducible research
\, e.g. in the form of ACM/IEEE badges. The Supercomputing (SC) conference
is one such example. As one of several RSEs who served as members of the
Artifact Evaluation Committee for SC21\, in this talk I will give my summa
ry of the reproducibility initiative for SC21. The Reproducibility Advance
ment Award\, which was also part of the SC conference for the first time\,
will also be briefly mentioned.\n\nHybrid Zoom details will be emailed to
the RSE mailing list\; if you are not on the list\, please contact the or
 ganisers.
