DESCRIPTION:The Whitham approach is a well-studied method to describe non-
 linear integrable systems. A similarly powerful approach has recently emer
 ged that is applicable to quantum integrable systems\, namely the generali
 zed hydrodynamics approach. This talk aims at showing that the Whitham app
 roach is the semiclassical limit of the generalized hydrodynamics approach
  by connecting the two formal methods explicitly on the example of the Lie
 b-Liniger model on the quantum side to the non-linear Schr&ouml\;dinger eq
 uation on the classical side in the c&rarr\;0 limit\, c being the interact
 ion parameter. Quantum expectation values are shown to be computable throu
 gh classical objects in this limit.
