DESCRIPTION:The relatively new possibility to study turbulence using atomi
c Bose gases has opened some new opportunities\, including the relatively
easy meaurements of particle and energy fluxes\, the possibility to direct
ly probe the system on all the relevant lengthscales and timescales\, and
the tuneability of the strength of interactions and the dissipation length
scale. This allows\, for example\, a clean demonstration of the zeroth law
of turbulence and the time-resolved studies of the formation of turbulenc
e starting from an equilibrium system. I will give an overview of our rece
nt experiments in both 3D and 2D homogeneous (box-trapped) gases\, some of
which agree with theory of weak wave turbulence and some invite further t
 heoretical work.
