SUMMARY:Mechanism of neural differentiation - Professor Kate Storey from S
chool of Life Sciences\, University of Dundee
DTSTART:20230223T140000Z
DTEND:20230223T150000Z
UID:TALK184313@talks.cam.ac.uk
CONTACT:Caroline Newnham
DESCRIPTION:Using the remarkable spatial separation of the temporal events
of neural differentiation along the embryonic vertebrate body axis we hav
e discovered tissue interactions\, signals and chromatin regulatory steps
 that direct this process https://sites.dundee.ac.uk/kate-storey/research/
. In this talk I will review this work and present recent studies linking
FGF/ERK signalling to regulation of chromatin accessibility in human neuro
mesodermal progenitors\, including unpublished phospho-proteomics data tha
t identify chromatin-associated proteins targeted by ERK1/2 and RSK. \n
