 ology and\n Biophysics\, later as a Neuroimmunologist working on 
 \nthe interface between injured central nervous system \nand immun
 e cells at the Weizmann Institute of Science\;\nI was transformed
  by living among computer scientists \nto become what is commonl
 y known today as a Systems \nBiologist (or a Computational Biolo
 gist). Here I have\nembarked on a mission to help decipher biolo
 gical \ncomplexity on various levels (e.g.\, signal \ntransduction\
 , cell‐cell communication) using \nexecutable models and formal 
 verification methods. Our\nwork is mainly focused on cellular deci
 sion‐\nmaking processes during normal development and disease\n(e.
 g.\, cancer). This talk will be about the new \nscience we call
  Executable Biology\, its premises and \nchallenges\, but also ab
 out a woman\, scientist\, mother\;\nmingled together to form the 
 whole.
