DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nIn this talk\, we investigate the propagation of waves i
 n a particular honeycomb structure made of thin tubes. Because of the peri
 odicity of the domain\, the &nbsp\;essential spectrum of the underlying op
 erator has gaps\, i.e. intervalls of frequencies wherein the monochromatic
  plane waves do not propagate. &nbsp\;Tuncating the structure along the&nb
 sp\;&nbsp\;zig-zag direction leads to the apparition of &nbsp\;guided wave
 s propagating along the defect. Making varying the location of the truncat
 ion permits to generate spectral flow in the gaps of the associated operat
