DESCRIPTION:The motion of gyro-elastic structures has a special feature - 
 the gyroscopic force\, which is orthogonal to the velocity (similar to the
  Lorentz force in electromagnetism).&nbsp\;The lecture gives an overview o
 f the recent work on the dispersion and localisation of waves in elastic w
 aveguides\, which include structures connected to multiple gyroscopic spin
 ners. In addition to theoretical modelling\, the lecture will also include
  practical demonstrations and illustrative examples.&nbsp\;
