 ower source for humanity. In the past few years there have been some signi
 ficant scientific achievements in nuclear fusion research\, as well as siz
 able new private and public investment in fusion. This talk will present t
 he technical challenges in delivering fusion power and the current activit
 ies around the world in addressing them.
