DESCRIPTION:Network waveguides with mirror and chiral symmetry are conside
 red: it is shown that\, in these systems\, scattering is very particular i
 n the sense that defects respecting the symmetries are invisible (perfect 
 transmission with no phase delay) at zero pseudo-energy. An application to
  acoustic waveguides is presented\, where the pseudo-energy is directly li
 nked to the wave frequency.
