DESCRIPTION:This talk will present insights into a novel communication app
 roach which reasons about WHAT is being communicated (and invoked) instead
  of WHO is communicating\, thus transitioning away from locator-based addr
 essing (and thus routing and forwarding) to an addressing scheme where the
  address semantics relate to services being invoked. For this\, we will in
 troduce Routing on Service Addresses (ROSA) to replace the usual DNS+IP se
 quence through an on-path discovery with in-band data transfer to a suitab
 le service instance location for a selected\, albeit not all Internet-base
 d\, services. The talk will outline sample ROSA use case scenarios\, requi
 rements for its design\, and the ROSA system design itself\, together with
  implementation insights and\, time permitting\, a small conceptual demo.
