DESCRIPTION:In this talk\, I will present &nbsp\; two examplesthat show &n
 bsp\;a &nbsp\;strong similarity between &nbsp\;the nonlinear elasticity of
  incompressible growing materials and Stokes &nbsp\;flows. &nbsp\;Conseque
 ntly\, &nbsp\;the techniques developed in complex analysis allow to derive
  explicit analytical solutions&nbsp\;of instabilities occurring during gro
 wth. In a second example\, I will focus on the growth of planar leaves gov
 erned &nbsp\;by a conformal map of their boundaries.
